As of NOVEMBER 1, 2001, ACLS certification is required for all CRNAs and physician surgeons when delivering anesthesia services in Illinois office-based settings. This is found in the rules for the administration of the Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act. Please be advised of this upcoming requirement and make sure that you are compliant.
