Nominating Committee
This committee is composed of
3 active members elected at the annual meeting. The committee will prepare and
present to the Board of Directors a slate of candidates nominated for:
President-Elect, Secretary, and three Directors in the odd numbered years and
President-Elect, Treasurer, and four Directors in the even numbered years.
Finance Committee
This committee is composed of
the Treasurer and 2 active members. The committee plans a budget and
investigates expenses of the Association. The committee reviews the annual
report submitted by independent auditors and reports to the Board of Directors.
Long Range Planning
This committee conducts on
ongoing review and evaluation of the Association programs, organizational
structure, and financial resources, and provides a long-range plan to ensure the
orderly growth and development consistent with the Association philosophy.
Public Relations Committee
This committee is composed of
3 active members geographically distributed throughout the state. This
committee will oversee the distribution of a quarterly newsletter, advise
Association staff on website development and content, coordinate and disseminate
information to media outlets and outside organizations, ensure that the
association members remain informed of key events of the association.
Bylaws Committee
This committee receives
proposed amendments and presents them to the Board of Directors and members for
consideration at the annual meeting or any regular meeting of the Association.
As amendments are made to the bylaws this committee has the bylaws reprinted
with updates every 5 years or sooner.
Government Relations Committee
This committee works with and
under the direction of the Board of Directors and the National Government
Relations Committee in matters pertaining to legislation, regulatory agencies,
and related activities, dealing with anesthesia practice.
